John Kurian preaches from Philippians ch 4. He reminds the believer that anxiety and worry are actually a mild form of atheism. Since God sent His Son to deal with the most difficult problem of sin – then why should we worry about far more trivial matters in the existential struggles of life. Of course, there are legitimate worries in the Christian’s life, but this can become toxic and sinful if we remove the Lord out of our equation. So we, too, can model our life the same way as did the apostle Paul, who did not worry even though he was in prison and faced imminent death.
