PART 5 – In a challenging and heart felt message, Alasdair Baijal looks at Paul and his Counsel throughout the book of acts, examining the advice he gives to various groups of people in Acts 13, the only “ministry message” we have of the Apostle Paul. Alasdair draws out 4 Critical concerns Paul had for Assembly testimony:
- The People He is speaking to
- The Activity they are engaged in
- The Problems that needed to be addressed
- The Protection that is suggested
Alasdair brings out heavily practical lessons with regard to those that publicly preach, explaining why preaching is not “out-of-date” and that there is a biblical mandate for it. He also take time to explain and expand on the concept of preaching “the whole counsel of God” and the need for balance in preaching and teaching. Alasdair offers much help to those who are shepherds and elders in assembly fellowship with regard to protecting and leading God’s people. A vital message that will repay careful listening.
