PART 3: “What does it mean to live right?” The speaker answers this question posed at the outset of this message in a weighty address given, concerning God’s Righteousness and the Purity of the Kingdom. Iain deals with two areas – the practising of righteousness and the principles of righteousness. He emphasises that God desires his people to be different; that he is the audience for our Christian lives. Iain contrasts this with the Pharisees at the time who living in an unrighteous manner. Iain uses the Beatitudes or “Beautiful Attitudes” to lay before his audience 7 Statements of Righteousness found in the Sermon on the Mount, statements which reflect the person of the Lord Jesus Christ.
