Jack starts the meeting by talking about three things that are important to remember: remember “thy Creator”, God; remember his laws (10 commandments) which we can’t keep therefore makes us aware of our sinfulness. Lastly, we must remember His love for us in sending His Son to die on the cross for our sins. Gene continues to preach on 1 Peter 2:24- a profound bible verse that presents us with a powerful truth, that the Lord Jesus Christ “his own self” bare our sins in his own body on the tree and that by trusting on Him, we have life everlasting.
