What does the Holy Spirit do? (27 mins)

EASTER CONF 2025: Alistair Sinclair preaches a helpful message concerning the person and the work of the Holy Spirit. Rather than draw attention to error surrounding the subject, Alistair succinctly brings to the audiences’ attention four works that the Holy Spirit does do in the present day: providing eternal security, , exposing sinners, educating saints and also exalting the saviour. (Readings: John 16:4-15)

God’s Shiloh and God’s Salvation (33 mins)

EASTER CONF 2025: Stuart MacDonald opens up the Easter Conference weekend by preaching a rich typological message from Genesis 49. Stuart examines four titles given to Christ, found within the last words of Jacob: God’s Shiloh, Salvation, Shepherd and Stone. Stuart draws out lessons from these four characteristics, predominantly focusing on God’s Shiloh and Salvation, titles given contextually to the children of Israel, but which also point forward to the Lord Jesus Christ. (Readings: Genesis 49).

Guilty sinners and the gracious Saviour (24 mins)

Referring to Romans 3:19-23 and Galatians 2:20, Jonathan Wylie preaches the great message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He tells us of the righteousness of God, which is demonstrated in His judgment of sin. Jonathan points us to Jesus Christ, who died and rose again to save us, so that any sinner who trusts in Jesus Christ escapes God’s judgment and receives new life!

Leviticus 12: The Laws of Motherhood (45 mins)

In this thoughtful sermon on Leviticus chapter 12, Arran Kennedy explores the ceremonial laws surrounding childbirth in ancient Israel and draws out their deeper spiritual significance. He unpacks God’s instructions concerning purification after childbirth, highlighting how these laws reflect the holiness of God and the fallen condition of mankind. Arran shows how even in these often-overlooked verses, the grace and provision of God are evident, ultimately pointing to the redemptive work of Christ.

The sinking ship of sin (14 mins)

Leonard Currie preaches the Lord Jesus Christ as the Saviour who saves sinners from the sinking ship of sin. He makes reference to the Titanic and how passengers aboard were either saved or lost. The same is true of us. We are either saved by the Lord Jesus and heading to Heaven’s blissful shore, or we’re not…Are you saved?

Coming to Christ: What’s stopping you? (20 mins)

Paul Kissick delivers a challenging message to the audience. Life is busy and filled with distractions, but is there something that is hindering you from repenting and trusting Christ? He emphasises the importance of being saved and that there is nothing in this world more important.

God SO loved the world (20 mins)

Paul Jenkinson reinforces the truth that God loves us, as demonstrated by the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. There are people in this world who genuinely believe that nobody loves them. But we read in John 3:16 that God loves them so much that He sent His Son Jesus Christ into the world to pay the price for their sins; by believing on Him, they can be saved!

Leviticus 11: The cleanliness code (47 mins)

Dan Rudge expounds very clearly on a rarely heard ministry from Leviticus ch 11. He elaborates on the ‘cleanliness code’. Having divided the chapter into 3 sections- diet of God’s people (vs 1-23), defilement of God’s people (vs 24-43) and duty of God’s people (vs 44-47), he then expands with some practical teaching on the significance of, separation and structure of the cleanliness code. Well worth listening on more than once!

Trusting Christ: Ending your efforts to save yourself (39 mins)

Nick Harvey preaches a powerful gospel on how it is possible to be religious and yet be dead in sins because without Christ it’s all just your own righteousness. He points you to the Lord Jesus Christ who died and rose again so that you can put an end to all your efforts and find acceptance in Him.

The Epistle to the Romans (47 mins)

Scott Dunn delivers a powerful good-news message, that delves into the gospel, as found in the Epistle to the Romans. He challenges the audience to recognise their own sin and, in accordance with the truth of Romans 5, know peace with God through faith in the Lord Jesus.

Leviticus 7: A sense of the sacred (51 mins)

Scott Dunn expounds the challenges of Leviticus 7. Worshipping God is not on our terms but on His; how we approach God matters. The chapter brings before the reader the significance of holiness, which fundamentally determines the quality of our worship to God. It is our obedience to Him that makes the difference.

From disgrace to grace (39 mins)

As part of our testimony night, Paul Thomas delivered a powerful message about how Jesus Christ saved him from addiction to illegal substances, and ultimately sin. Despite having Christian parents, that didn’t make Paul a Christian, and his life showed it. Until one day, Paul was saved by Christ and he received new life! But how can a man who lived on earth 2,000 years ago have such a meaningful impact on lives today? Listen to find out how Christ…

From dead idols to the living God (15 mins)

For the first session of our testimony night, Manny read from 1 Thessalonians 1:9-10, which says that the believers in Thessalonica had turned from idols to serve the true and living God. Having been brought up in Hinduism, a religion that has thousands of gods, Manny didn’t know the true and living God. Manny tells us how he came to know the true God through the Lord Jesus, for himself; and how Christ turned his life upside down as he…
